TSM started off well with a 2 wins and 1 loss in Week 1 but then in Week 2 they performed worse and went 1-2. jacklove, ruler). TSM is one of the most popular esports organizations in the world, with teams in League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Super Smash Bros. Melee & Ultimate, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Fortnite, Apex Legends, VALORANT, Magic: The Gathering, Chess and Rainbow Six: Siege. I will say when he did come back, I was hugely skeptical of our Summer aspirations. So from what it seemed like during worlds preparation, it felt like Treatz was not scrimming but he was still watching and participating in prep. The whole argument fielding the best roster to give them a win is just terrible analysis from the team. Also, Licorice on C9 basically had to play around Blaber otherwise the guy would run it down every 3 minutes, sacking waves and getting deep vision for Blaber to be himself. And now, former teammate TSM Biofrost shared his thoughts on the matter. He's consistently been top tier in academy for multiple years. Best performance I’ve seen him have in ages. Obviously, if NA supports were more talented overall I'd probably change my mind...but they're all kinda bad in one way. I'm not, I'm tired of imports carrying NA. His old cockiness has turned into genuine confidence. Fav player but not world champion contender. Team SoloMid (TSM) is a North American esports organization created around the community website Solomid.net in September 2009, by Andy ''Reginald'' Dinh and his brother Dan Dinh. Now finally he gets another chance to prove himself at worlds and they perform worse than any of his teams have at worlds before. His super team barely missed out on getting out of groups yet again. I think we should start requiring rank verification before people post roster ideas. Heres to you! It’s hard to argue against statistics, both DL and bjerg have not been as good internationally as they have been domestically. I watched him duo with DL last night- dude definitely knows the game inside and out. Although Biofrost has been the lane partner for Doublelift during the TSM era of the LCS, his recent performances have not inspired much confidence. “I was really scared of losing my job once again or getting benched”, Doublelift added. Our two key players play roles that interact the least and therefore our imports need to support them. He hasn’t been peak DL sure, but he’s putting forth a good effort and that’s enough for me. I love Bio, but he might need to go if we want this team to move forward. Biofrost also personally received the Outstanding Rookie title for the Summer Season. It’s something to accept and move on. Yea, regardless of tomorrow I think there is a decent chance DL retires after this year. Can't wait to see how he integrates with the rest of the team. People say he was "forced" to go to China? https://twitter.com/TSM/status/1283446365402669056 Pretty suprising that this happened to be honest, even though bio has been struggling.Treatz has been duoing with doublelift the past few days. TSM will face 100 Thieves with their new lineup on Friday, July 17. I personally think giving Treatz some worlds games and taking a ‘perceived’ larger risk at going 0-6 is worth the appreciation that shows for what Treatz contributed to TSM’s results domestically. They would start flaming Treatz just like they are flaming the others. Top is a more important role than support, so I'd rather have Bio play his role badly (and there isn't a logical replacement NA talent for him) and have an import god in the top lane than have Licorice play his style which is good, but usually doesn't benefit junglers. Biofrost started out the season with TSM but mostly couldn’t find his form and after a disappointing week of matches against Cloud 9 and Immortals he was benched in favor of Treatz. More posts from the TeamSolomid community. BB had his shot, his stock definitely went up playing with us, but a lot of his good performances came from Bjerg playing support, losing draft priority or permaganking BB's lane. Holy wholesome Batman! I'd take doing worse in lane if it means we have a support who actually looks for plays and can think for himself. 2018 MSI DL looked really good, probably the best since S2, but in 2019 he looked good in the IG series but terrible everywhere else. For me, I’m just happy to see someone I look up to be happy again, and work on returning to that recent peak with people he truly cares about. But there is no excuse for not to play Treatz those last 2 games period. Bio is the only person I'm certain needs to be off the roster. Same. Yeah I think there's just a big playstyle difference that not just Doublelift has to account for, but also the entire team. So, heading into worlds preparation, seeing as having Biofrost back in the roster led to better success, it makes sense to focus solely on bringing that Biofrost roster up to a Worlds standard, instead of splitting time with Treatz. The pessimistic in me sees Bjergsen and Doublelift maybe having another 2 more years max(?) Biofrost left TSM in November and joined Counter Logic Gaming in the same month. Even though I feel they should have subbed in Treatz, it would have only resulted in getting solo killed and outcsed more often in an already weakside bot lane and we already know how much lane matters to DL. Love bio too but its a win win. The fans know how bad the did. Fringe champions that I didn't count as "tanks," were Morde, Sett and Voli (even though I think they can definitely qualify), but if you ignore those 3, and focus on Malph, Ornn, and Shen, BB played tank 6 times, Licorice? Hopefully he does well enough to live up to the hype. I was completely blown away by our play-offs run and eventual title win. If he gives up I’ll be disappointed cause he said he never will. My friend said that he wouldn't be surprised if Treatz goes over to play for Fnatic. He also left a rival team who only replaced a single player, and were showing signs of improvement compared to spring split after his departure. He went to China with the team and did the job that he's paid for, and I'm sure if you asked him he'd be glad he got the opportunity to go, there was no "forcing". not everyday you see cardboard playing competitive. Mid supports every lane and needs to carry mid game. I'm sure when he dreamt of being at worlds it wasn't in an empty arena after his team had already been eliminated. Im sure over half of the LCS would sign DL in a heartbeat, and i hope TSM holds on to him. I dunno, I always thought Licorice could play strong side/carry really well, especially in 2018 when he was literally carrying C9 to semis at worlds. After the 0-3 loss to GG, he said something about retirement. I saw the article on my Google feed and came here for the flame and instead I find the top comment is positive? Speaking of silly mistakes, DL's been like this since his debut and I really think that's the key difference that separate him with the best of the best (i.e. This is a subreddit devoted to the game League of Legends. At the very least I'd expect Treatz to be in the Ignar/Zeyzal/Biofrost group. He's definitely sufficient at it imo, even in current year. At the end of the day I think it comes down to how much both him and bjerg have left in the tank. that being said... Licorice has more depth than Bio, even though i want Bio to stay as well (if we're picking between the 2). I wanted to play devil's advocate here, and see if I can add a new perspective into the argument. Perkz was massively outperforming him in his first split as an ADC with a support who couldn't even scrim. I hope it doesn't happen and pray that he really wants to play in front of a crowd at least one more time, but I'm always someone that prepares for the worst. The cool head of a new Doublelift, one willing to play towards topside and be left without resources, understanding that his team could be relied on as much as his team could rely on him, was a sight to behold. Yes they tried different comps/champs/strategies but reality is fundamentally there was a lack of communication/execution/cohesive gameplan among the boyz. Only improves the support pool for next split if Treatz works out for TSM. It’s just filled with constant hate and a barrage of insults perpetually echoing each other. I hope the poster feels bad. All we can do now is just support the team in moving forward #TSMWIN. With a full split of play I'd actually be surprised if Treatz wasn't a top five support. what we need is a flexible player who adapts and can play any playstyle if not then adapt and learn. What rubs me the wrong way are all the people saying "TSM forced Treatz to go to China and quarantine for two weeks and didn't even give him a game" which is pretty ridiculous. I just hope TSM don't kill his chances of getting a career on another team if he somehow doesn't look as well in the LCS TSM environment. I still can't believe that Golden Guardians picked FBI and Keith over (at the time) Treatz and Tactical right after they dominated Academy.
